School Story:

Went sailing more than I was here in my senior year

What countries have you visited?

Bermuda, Bahamas, Mexico, Roatan, Cayman Islands and Cuba

What did you always want to do that you haven’t done yet?

Janell Forsberg. Wait! That did not come out right. I have wanted to get in contact with Janell. One of the nicest people that was in our freshman class. She moved to the NW of the U.S. in what I am guessing was our sophomore year at the latest. I am frequently asked why I have never married. In the past ten years the thought had occured to me that I have not met anyone that was of the absolute sweet demeanor and loveliness of Janell..I Googled her name, wrote her sister on this site but to no avail. It is amusing to me now because we had no romantic attraction when she was here. Just a sailing commonality that we shared together a couple times. But if she is the person still that I remember, I would know that perhaps, .....just maybe,...........?

What famous or interesting people have you met?

Tilo Filo Stevenson. An Olympic boxer from Cuba. My God! did he have big hands. Oh, and Neil Pert from the band Rush. I was on vacation in Denver one Winter and he came into this little place that was close to where I was staying. He was so ordinary that I had no idea it was him until he 'fessed up' after two hours of partying.

What do you do to relax?

sit in the cockpit of my little sailboat in a quiet little cove on the way out to the Gulf from Cape Coral (only on weekends).

What was your favorite song from high school?

Oh well it always revolved around heavy guitars. Ted Nugent was fairly unknown as they did not play his stuff on the radio then. But as far as what we heard on the radio, Harry Collins turned me onto Van Halen "Running with the devil" out in "the field". Styx songs were on my fav list too. Especially "Come Sail Away" and "Superstar".
