Shocked, immense sadness is how George and I feel about Stan's passing. A true sense of loss of "one of us". Makes one realize how fleeting our time here on earth really is. He was a fine Christian man who I'm sure did not fear death as he knew where he was going.  Our heartfelt sympathy to his family and those who loved him.

I'm sure the fine young man he exemplified in high school was just the beginning of the great man he was to become.   As I wrote in an earlier entry on his profile page, his bright smile and genuine, warm and kind nature touched so many of us and the thing is, that encounter, that feeling you had in his presence left an imprint on your mind and heart.

"God Bless You and keep you, Stanley. We'll never forget you."

Love and friendship,

Angie & George Drobinski

When I first moved to Sanibel from Texas in 1969 I'm sad to say we were a bit racist. Stanley befriended me when I had no friends. He taught me how to fish and all about the natural environment on Sanibel. We became very good friends. I am truely saddend to hear he passed. The world misses you Stanley.
